Perversion - Urban Decay

It's always fun to mix up your makeup look and here at The Amazing Blog, we love to find new make up products to use, so when Urban Decay's newest launch arrived in our office we were thrilled to test it out.

Mascara is definitely an essential to a makeup look and lashes are made to be noticed, so we can all flicker our eyes! The Urban Decay mascara perversion has a large wand so you can lengthen the lashes, creating volume and glamour. This black mascara will have you addicted to its high tech brush that separates your lashes whilst giving you the control to build up coats for a super black wide-eyed effect. The mascara has an ultra-creamy formula, so it glides effortlessly through, leaving clump free lashes and the highly pigmented shade is perfect to finish a dramatic smokey eyed look.

Antiox, Face & Body Lotion and Soap - La Espiral Verde

We all aim to use the right beauty products to keep our skin soft and moisturised but do we know what ingredients are in the products we are using? Here at The Amazing Blog we strive to promote brands and products that are actually good for our skin and will benefit from using their products. So today, we want to introduce a brand we've just discovered called La Espiral Verde.

This company is a natural and organic manufacturer that specialises in body and face lotions, hair and body washes and soap bars. Many of their products are two-in-one cosmetics and their hero ingredient, Atlantic Seaweed, is a powerful natural addition featuring in most of the products. Also this unisex brand is suitable for all skin types and can be used by vegans.

We were lucky enough to be sent a range of products to review. Firstly Antiox, a face moisturiser that will regenerate and repair your facial skin; we tried both for normal & dry skin and for combination skin. It is advised to apply the product to your face with a circular massage technique until the product is absorbed. One of the two-in-one products we were fortunate to try was the lemon scented body and face lotion, that comes in a rose scent also. It’s perfect for people who seek a moisturiser that is suitable for face and body at the same time. The product is a non-greasy lotion that easily spreads over the skin keeping it soft and nourished. We also loved their soap which has a combination of seaweed and olive oil ideal for any skin type including delicate and sensitive. You can use it to wash your body, face and, surprisingly enough, your hair too.

Amla and Grapefruit Hair Remedy - Alchemy

Here at The Amazing Blog, we know all too well how sensitive our hair can be in the summer weather. So you can imagine our excitement when we had the opportunity to try Alchemy’s hair oils created for deep conditioning and styling.

The range is composed of two different oils: the Grapefruit and Amla Hair Remedies. The first one is made up of nourishing oils (Coconut, Avocado, Almond and Castor oils) known for their capacity to aid in hair growth and strengthening, and leave hair looking more lustrous. In addition, the first remedy fights dandruff thanks to the Grapefruit Essential Oil. The second oil offers amazing growth and a natural cleanse due to the nutritious blend of Amla, Coconut, Avocado, and Argan oils, whilst also helping to maintain the hair’s natural colour for longer. They really are a multi-purpose hair product! For dry hair, apply the oil from the roots to the tips for a minimum of 30 min and for damp hair, apply it only on the tips then blow-dry as usual. We also love how it smells, as it reminds us of holidays in the tropics.

Who said that high quality and luxury body care is synonym for unaffordable? Here at The Amazing Blog we can show you it’s quite the opposite with SoapNSkin products.
