Tangle Angel Brushes

We still remember here at The Amazing Blog, what a nightmare it was getting our hair combed when we were kids. Today, thanks to the Tangle Angel Brushes, that memory is luckily fading.

First of all let us tell you how pretty and magical they look. The back of the brush is decorated with a pair of angel wings, while the front is in a gorgeous heart-shape. But not only are they beautiful the Tangle Angel Brushes have a range of characteristics that set them apart from their competitors - antibacterial, anti-static, water and heat resistant. Designed by Celebrity & Royal Hairdresser, Richard Ward, the brushes contain "...scientifically developed bristles for easy, pain-free gentle detangling..." with each bristle placed at different heights to gently glide through your hair, unbinding every knot.

That means they’re ideal for any type of hair. Curly, long, thick or fragile, these heavenly tools will make brushing your favourite moment of the day. This year the brand decided to launch a new and catchy range of metallic colours, creating the Metallix Collection. We adore the Pop Purple but there's a colour to suit everyone; OMG Orange, Precious Pink, Totally Turquoise, Wow White, GR8 Graphite, Gorgeous Gold and Fab Fuchsia.

With Christmas just around the corner, this could be the perfect present for your family and friends. Get them all for only £14.95 here on Tangle Angel website.

Louise Young - Brushes

Here at The Amazing Blog, I’m sure that you are aware by now that we are self-confessed make-up mavens. A good eyeshadow or lipstick arriving in the office will make our day. That being said, we know that a great make-up artist is only as good as their tools.  So we were excited to trial the Louise Young Cosmetics brushes that landed on our doorstep, hoping that they would help us on our way to perfect make-up application.

We were lucky enough to receive a number of wonderful brushes from the collection, all of which we took great pleasure in using. Among our new stash was the LY48 Mini Super Foundation Brush. I’ve long been BeautyBlender convert, as I feel that it provides a more seamless application, but brush was super indeed, perfect for distributing my base, which I then proceeded to blend in with my fingers. I was also lucky enough to try out the LY37 and LY13 Mini Socket Brush. The former is labeled a Brow Brush, but I found that it was ideal for gel eyeliner, helping me to finally master that tricky feline flick. The latter was amazing for creating a smudged out look around the lash line. My smoky eye has never looked so great! What’s more, all of the Louise Young brushes are the creation of Louse Young herself, a highly acclaimed make-up artist, so you know you’re be getting great quality.

Apply your make-up with the skill of a professional, thanks to Louise Young Cosmetics. You can purchase the collection here, with prices ranging from £6 to £36. My favourites, the LY48 and LY37 retail for £19 and £9 respectively.
