EPARA is an organic and natural skincare brand specialising in Afro-Carribean beauty. After years of suffering from dry and uneven complexion, the founder Ozohu Adoh struggled to find any effective and natural skincare products. So as the story goes, she took a chance and decided to create a brand that would answer the needs of women of colour. In the Nigerian dialect, Ebira, EPARA means “to cocoon oneself” which is the core aim of this brand.

EPARA combined the best of natural African ingredients to create unique and highly nourishing skincare range. The Cleansing Lotion cleanses and gently moisturises and is very efficient in removing all traces of make up and impurities. The lotion is enriched with moringa seed extracts, marula oil, plankton extract, Cananga flower oil and frankincense oil. Together these ingredients work as natural skin brighteners, helping to reduce the imperfections and give a more even skin tone. The oils infused in this formula make the cleanser highly hydrating and perfect for dry or sensitive skin types.

The Brightening Night Balm has won a particular place in our hearts. This balm is infused with the finest ingredients including plankton extracts, allantoin, and hyaluronic acid. Smoothing Toning Mist By Novexpert

Our favourite products, here at The Amazing Blog, are multi-use products, where one product can perform a multitude of functions. The Smoothing and Toning Mist does just this.

The Smoothing Toning Mist by Novexpert is a marvellous multi-use spray, as it tackles a range of problems. It has an anti-ageing effect, a moisturising effect and an anti-pollution effect. Novexpert recommend it for all skin types, but especially for those with dehydrated ‘tired’ skin who need a rejuvenating boost and for showing signs of ageing. It is a lovely little product to provide a pick-me-up for the skin, especially in temperamental weather conditions, whether that be extremely dry, hot, or cold climates. It is also great to provide some much-needed moisture and protection in air conditioning.

For the moisturising properties, Novexpert have included hyaluronic acid, moisturising probiotic and aloe vera gel. Amino acids, phytic acid, anti-free radicals and monosaccharide biotech sugar give the mist its wonderful anti-ageing properties. A few special ingredients, including oxygenating phytic acid and metals catcher, aid in anti-pollution.

Hyaluronic Booster Serum by Novexpert

We are always on the lookout for the perfect serum at The Amazing Blog, and we think we may have found a new makeup bag essential with Novexpert and their Booster Serum With Hyaluronic Acid. Dermo28 Skincare

Italian formula Dermo28 for skin and eye care has already carved its niche with The Amazing Blog. The four products that caught our eye (excuse the pun!) are the Dermo28’s Eye Complex an eye treatment for wrinkle reduction; the Recovery Cream which is a sensitive skin soothing cream; Cream Acida a pH balancing treatment and Regolatore pH a pH balancing toner. Dermo28's name was chosen carefully, as 28 is the number of days it takes for cells to regenerate.

Dermo28’s Eye Complex is a favourite eye treatment pick for wellness enthusiasts. The presence of vitamin C in its plant form is characterised to restore firmness and compactness to the sensitive skin around the eye area. High traces of aloe vera and pro-vitamin B5 provide optimal moisturisation and soothing to the area. Using this eye cream will make the eyes relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated for an eventful day and offering a peaceful sleep available at £54 for 15ml.

Recovery Cream is a highly sensitive skin friendly cream, which is devoid of all allergens. It is a handy skin-nurturing package for all kinds of skin irritation, soothing, protection and nourishment. We love the silky feel and the fragrance. The key ingredients are ceramides, argan oil and liquorice extracts, together with vitamin E and C, olive oil and allantoina which is for elasticising, soothing and moisturising. Available for £59 for 50ml.

Crema Acida and Regolatore pH are two products designed to work in tandem. A perfect combination that addresses blemished skin by refreshing and rebalancing. Designed to restore the skin's natural acidity level and rebalance pH levels.  The Cream Acida is the first step, apply after thoroughly cleansing the skin, smoothing a thin layer onto the face. It contains a combination of vitamin C and E, hydraterm and hyaluronic acid. It also has cypress for soothing, shea butter and lemon balm for their moisturising qualities. After a minute allowing it to sink in, it is then cleansed off with the Regolatore pH balancing toner, which calms any irritation and corrects the acidity levels in the skin preventing any bad bacteria. Again this contains ingredients of vitamin C with hyderaterm and hyaluronic acid, which work together with succinct acid for detoxifying and an antioxidant effect; the cypress extracts create a stimulating effect for microcirculation. Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, Peptide Eye Serum - Bea Skincare

It's important to have an effective skin care routine, not just to help make our skin as bright and soft as possible, but because our skin first and foremost works as a barrier to unwanted infections. That’s why at The Amazing Blog we constantly like to remind ourselves and our audience to find a good skincare routine that suits them. Doing so will eliminate dead skin cells and dirt, without over-drying your face. This product uses beneficial ingredients such as green tea to treat your skin.

The next step is the Peptide Eye Serum. If you're self-conscious about your under eyes, then this is the product for you. Once your skin is cleansed, you can apply this product gently under your eyes to reduce puffiness and remove dark circles. Similar to the cleanser, it's recommended that you use this product twice a day for best results. This product's key ingredients include vitamin B and hyaluronic acid.
