Soap Co. – Hand Wash, Hand Lotion and Soap

Today we are totally inspired at The Amazing Blog from the minimal, black and white style of Soap Co. products.

It’s always a pleasure writing about efficient and natural products but when we can also celebrate a brand that cares about disabled people, we’re doubly happy; Soap Co. employs blind people and that’s why the name on the packaging is also written in Braille.
If you need further reasons to buy these products just let us say that they’re all cruelty-free and eco-friendly as the packaging is 100% recyclable or totally refillable; beside it doesn’t contains any chemical that could only irritate our skin.

We were excited to try White Tea but you can also find black poppy with wild fig and citrus.
We couldn’t make a better decision. The fragrance is so delicate that it won’t interfere with other perfume you’re using but it lasts all day.
From now on the Hand Wash is something we will always have in our bathroom. Something so clear and transparent can be only made with natural ingredients.
It creates an indulgent foam that leaves the hands soft and not dry; but we always need that extra touch of hydration and that’s why we can’t live without the Hand Lotion. Same fragrance and a creamy texture that reminds us of fluffy, whipped cream. The better way to describe it is like having a layer of protection on your hands, fresh and gentle.
The Bar Soap has something retro and traditional that makes it special. The name of the brand stamped on top of the bar, or maybe the fact that every bar is hand-cut recalls an old fashion bath tub and love for simplicity.
The white tea products vahe in common the Vitamin B5, plus palm oil and aloe vera extracts responsible for a skin always moisturised and silky.

Hand wash and lotion are available here and here both at £8, and you can find the soap for £5 here.

Bravura London - First Cleanse Oil

Not enough people are aware of the importance of cleansing, here at The Amazing Blog we are determined to share our wealth of knowledge to achieve great skin. Bravura London have produced a First Cleanse Oil to ensure our skin is thoroughly cleansed to allow other skincare products to work to their full potential. Oil cleansers are fantastic to remove makeup or any dirt on the skin, then it should followed by a second cleanser to remove anything left behind. For anyone with oily skin do not panic, no matter what your skin type oil cleansers will perfectly clean and hydrate your skin.

The First Cleanse Oil contains a variety of fresh and natural ingredients, it contains safflower, coconut, avocado and Vitamin E oil, all infused with Lavender and Rosemary essential oils. Water is also added to give it a smoother and runnier texture; it glides onto the skin with such ease and removes even stubborn waterproof makeup. The oils used are selected for their benefits to the skin and ability to remove dirt without aggravating the skin, those with sensitive skin can breathe a sigh of relief. Coconut and avocado oil nourish the skin and vitamin E oil is a natural anti-oxidant, there is so much goodness packed into a product. The Lavender, Chamomile and Rosemary oils are soothing and purifying, we can finally go to bed without sore eyes.

We loved that the oil cleanser was made from such natural ingredients and truly loved the fragrant sent and soothing effects when taking off stubborn makeup, as beauty enthusiasts we wear a lot of it. The oil does not feel greasy on the skin and comes off easily with a wet flannel; we do recommend using a second cleanser for optimum results.

The Konjac Sponge Company - Angel Cloth

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’re big fans of cream cleansers. Whether we give our faces a scrub in the shower (guilty as charged) or give our cleansing routine a bit more loving attention, we usually reach for a flannel or muslin cloth to help us along the way. So we were curious when the Original Konjac Angel Cloth from The Konjac Sponge Company landed on our desks, and were excited to see how it compared to our regular cleansing tools.

Looking uncannily like a prawn cracker, we were somewhat bemused by the odd looking cloth. However, when rinsed with water, the cloth relaxes and expands into a soft cleansing square, perfect for use with our favourite products. Rich in minerals and super gentle on the skin, the 100% Natural Vegetable Fibre Face Cloth makes a milder alternative to a muslin cloth, and is extremely kind to the skin. Made from the Japanese Konjac plant, it’s packed with antioxidant properties and, being 100% natural, is more than ideal for sensitive skin. We were surprised by just how soft it was – it’s certainly not what you expect when you see the angel shaped sponge in its packaging.

Turn over a more gentle cleansing leaf with the Original Konjac Angel Cloth. You can buy it here for £11.99.

Jadu Luxury Tea

Here at The Amazing Blog we love nothing more than a good cup of tea, and when we say ‘good’ our palettes certainly do appreciate a spot of luxury! We, for that reason, loved nothing more than to receive a selection of the luxurious Jadu tea to try.

Jadu Tea (pronunced jah-doo) is an independent global luxury tea brand based in the UK, sourcing their tea leaves from India, China and Sri Lanka. Their herbs and fruits come from all around the world. Their selection of tea blends range from the traditional English Breakfast to the elegant Mademoiselle Grey and the healthy China Green, with each tea being infused with a unique identity to give it that sophisticated edge.

Our absolute favourite was the Mademoiselle Grey, a take on the classic Earl Grey tea using the refreshing Sri Lankan Uva black tea as a base and finished with bright citrus note and aromatic bergamot. One cup was just not enough, we found ourselves getting up and putting on the kettle again as soon as we were finished the first.

Jadu Teas are priced at £16 for 12 tea envelopes or £19 for 100gr whole leaf tea and can be purchased from the Jadu Tea website here.
