Lash Control - Mascaras

Are you tired of dealing with globs of mascara every time you pull the brush out of the container? Or even worse, having clumps of mascara on your eyelashes? Here at The Amazing Blog, we have found a way to prevent these annoying episodes, with these two mascaras from Lash Control. These mascaras are from the USA, under the name U. Control Packaging, LLC, well-known for its line of unique mascara and brow-fix formulas. Their formulas are sold under the niche brand name LASHCONTROL®, a unique, patented and award-winning collection of mascara tubes. With tubes that allow you to control how much mascara is on your brush, simply squeeze as you pull the brush out, and excess formula stays in the tube.

We were sent two products from the Lash Control range, the first being the ClearCoat Mascara and Brow-Fix This is the first ever mascara/brow-fix with a “built-in non-clumping squeezable wiper sleeve”. It enables the user to control the amount of formula being used, depending on how hard they squeeze it. It is loaded with botanicals, namely a hydrating beeswax base, Gingko Biloba, Chamomile Flower Extract, and Ginseng Root Extracts. It can also be used as a top coat over the Volumizing and Conditioning Mascara, to add some extra shine whilst separating the lashes. Alongside lashes, it can be used as a brow gel, taming “fly a ways” to create a fresh grooming look.

The second product sent to us by Lash Control was the Volumizing and Conditioning Mascara. This is basically the other one’s twin, but with added colour. Its volumizing brush is zig-zag shaped, enabling the user to apply the product effortlessly.  It contains the same ingredients as the ClearCoat Mascara, and as such, you won’t be wasting time wiping the wand on a tissue or scraping it along the edge of the tube. The squeezable wiper sleeve will once again leave you with a precise and full looking result.

Rouge Bunny Rouge- Burgundy Spring

We at The Amazing Blog adore trying out unique makeup products, so when Rouge Bunny Rouge sent us their Burgundy Spring gift set, we were excited. The set includes a blush wand, a shimmery quartz eyeliner and, most excitingly, a deep wine-red mascara.

Benefit Cosmetics – Roller Lash Mascara, Watts Up! Highlighter & They’re Real! Push-Up Liner

Although we often champion smaller brands here at The Amazing Blog, and love to discover hidden beauty gems, sometimes we feel it’s only right to rave about the well-known brands that are certainly worth the hype. Here in the office, we have a bit of a penchant for all things Benefit, so when they sent over some of their best loved beauty products, we were positively jumping for joy.

First in our bag of goodies was the Roller Lash Mascara. The brand’s latest release, it has been all the rage here in London, and for good reason. Designed to work as a hair roller would, the cute pink wand is equipped with tiny hooks, which lift and curl the lashes, negating the need for eyelash curlers. As well as looking more wide-eyed, we loved how fluttery and soft it made our lashes look. It’s the perfect addition to a girly make-up look.

As much as we loved the mascara, our favourite product was Benefit’s classic highlighter, Watts Up! We adore a glowing complexion, and find this to be perfect for giving a soft focus shimmer to our visage. Nothing says old Hollywood glamour like a screen siren glow. As strobing is the latest craze, what better product is there to invest in than this. 

Last but not least, Benefit’s They’re Real! Push-Up Liner takes a bit of getting used to, but with a bit of practice, it’s a great tool for creating a feline flick. The thing that impressed us most was just how black it is. There’s nothing worse than ‘black’ eyeliners that are actually slightly grey, or have a bit of a translucent pay off. This liner is jet black as can be, and a perfect consistency for staying put all day long.
