The Spirit of Christmas Fair is an event The Amazing Blog team loves to explore every year in preparation for Christmas. Located in London’s Olympia, this fair is filled with beautiful gifts, boutiques, workshops, foods and so much more to encourage your Christmas creativity. The date is placed perfectly in the calendar to make sure can enjoy some peaceful Christmas shopping without the stress of having to buy everyone’s presents in a rush. During the day there are plenty workshops held, tailored to the interests of a variety of shoppers, which means you are bound to find something for you and your friends to enjoy. This year there is the opportunity to learn of the Champagnes and Vineyards of Louis Roederer with Mark Bingley, master of wine at Louis Roederer. There are Flower Arranging Workshops with Phil Hammond, and Festive Beauty experiences with Graziella Vella, Space NK. Cowshed will be making an appearance with their holistic range and treatments. Not only does the fair help with Christmassy ideas to prepare you for next month, but there are also restaurants and bars to stop off at whilst you are there. The Luxury Travel Fair takes place between the 7^th and 10^th of November. It’s always good to multitask, with two fairs for the price of one, you have no excuse not to pay a visit. There is plenty to do and lots of time to mingle with experts from the travel industry. Leading brands bring incredible destinations and experiences with them to the show, and they are more than happy to chat with and advise you on adventures you’d never even thought of venturing on before.

If you’re looking to treat your friends and family with gifts this year that they wouldn’t normally find on the high street then take a stroll down to the London Olympia between the 5^th and 10^th of November. Winter Fine Art & Antiques Fair

Looking for some one-of-a-kind pieces for your home or to give others as a gift this Christmas season? Why not head to the 22^nd annual Winter Fine Art and Antiques Fair in Olympia. The fair starts on the 12^th of November and ends the 18^th of November. We at The Amazing Blog thought this would be a great opportunity to view and even purchase some antique pieces for your homes.

The fair attracts a multitude of consumers, from collectors, to interior designers, and even celebrities. Even if you don’t feel like purchasing one of the many classic pieces featured at the fair, why not take a day trip with some friends to take a look at the exquisite antiques and even enjoy a delicious catered meal by Mosimann’s. The fair features about 140 exhibitors from all over who will showcase for purchase the best in classic furniture, textiles, clocks, paintings, prints, sculpture and much more. All items on sale are examined by a team of experts to ensure each consumer is receiving the best in quality and authenticity.

In an elegant setting, there are marvellous pieces on display. Scottish-based, Victorian picture dealer, Campbell Wilson, has an oil on canvas portrait of Isadora Duncan by Paul Swan signed and dated. The most famous dancer of her time, Isadora Duncan is known as ‘the mother of modern dance.’ It is for sale for £15,000. Although most antiques come at a hefty cost, there are more affordable pieces on sale too. For the James Bond lover, Hampton Antiques have several items that could leave you “shaken and stirred.” A very rare Art Deco ‘Smokers’ Companion, in the form of a stylised aeroplane manufactured in the late 1920s will be for sale. This wonderfully rare smoker’s companion includes a cigar box, removable cigarette cases, and ashtrays all included in the design of the aeroplane. It will be offered for £6,500.

The Spirit of Christmas Fair

The fair started 30^th October and goes until 4^th November. Throughout the day numerous workshops are held. You can learn anything from decorating cupcakes to gift wrapping. Food and drink will also be served at the fair. Hundreds of companies will have their gifts displayed, and will include fashion, interior accessories, and gifts for men, children, and babies. The fair includes a unique array of gifts that you can not ordinarily find on the high street.
