Skin Euphoria - C20 Booster Serum

Skin Euphoria has recently launched a new C20 Booster Serum with vitamin B, C, E and ferulic acid. L’Erbolario - Albero di Giada, Jade Plant Perfume Mignon

Fragrance is definitely our thing at The Amazing Blog. We always try to find new scents that excite! We were thrilled to try a perfume from a new discovery brand for us L’Erbolario, which is intriguingly made from the jade plant blossom.

L’Erbolario was started in 1978 in Lodi in Italy and  was founded by Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Vila. Over the years, L’Erbolario has not lost its unique and original philosophy of respect, and nod towards nature combined with the latest technology and knowledge. L’Erbolario has also implemented its zero impact project with energy savings, short production chains and vegan recipes.

They have recently launched a new face and body collection: Albero di Giada, which is made from jade plant flowers and this Jade Plant Perfume Mignon is among them. The Jade Plant Perfume comes in an elegantly designed, slender jade green packaging. The perfume is a feminine fragrance with a floral and citrus scent.  It is made up of jade plant flowers with notes of bergamot, yellow rose, white tea, exotic verbena and amber.

It is a super fresh fragrance and smells like a mix of wild flowers, and different green plants with a hint of zest and sweetness combined with well-brewed green-tea. Mirati Cosmetics Body Lotion

The Amazing Blog loves finding new hero ingredients that are unique and nourishing for the skin, so while researching various ingredients, we came across Ghee! Yes Ghee, and that's where we discovered the Slovenian skincare brand Mirati Cosmetics. The majority of skincare have a cream base, which is essentially made of oil and water. Ghee, or clarified butter, takes this process two steps further – firstly, the butter is produced from cream, then it is clarified, leaving out all the water and milk, purifying the butter and ensuring that only the qualities essential to caring for your skin remain. Light, Normal and Rich Intense Moisturisers and Boosters - Bio-Extracts

As you know, we are always on the lookout for exciting, revolutionary and different beauty products here at The Amazing Blog as such we have seen many different approaches to skin care, so please believe us when we say that we have seen nothing like Bio-Extracts! Thes products are based on scientific theory, they are fun to use, and they are effective! We can't think of anything better, except maybe if they were vegan, paraben free and made with all natural ingredients – which they are!

Bio Extracts work off a concept unlike any other; they have three intense moisturisers called light, normal and rich. Once you have selected the moisturiser you think is most appropriate for you skin, you then choose a ‘booster’. The boosters they have come in large syringes, which you are supposed to then add to the cream. By mixing and matching their boosters with the creams, you can tailor a product ideal for your skin’s individual needs! It’s very simple to use, with every pump of moisturiser you add 1-2 shots of the booster!

So what is the science behind it? Well the upper layers of the skin, the stratum corneum, are elaborately organised into a highly-structured, lamellar arrangement. These layers are what form the skin’s barrier function, which keeps internal fluids and external stressors external. If this sounds too scientific for you, it did to us; we understand the lamellar arrangement as consisting of lipids, or ‘oils and fats’. Bio-Extracts has a very distinctive structural similarity to these natural layers in the skin and is therefore designed to act as a patch on the skin. This, in turn, helps to restore and protect the barrier function of the skin; stopping trans-epidermal water loss, improving hydration, and protecting the skin from external irritants.
