Hair Organics Open Day for Charity

Get yourselves down to Hair Organics in Notting Hill this Sunday where they will be hosting their Annual Open Day for Charity. The salon will be offering either blowdrys or cut and blowdrys, leaving it up to you to donate what you think the experience was worth - we would always pay these guys the big bucks for their expertise, but this unique event will leave that totally up to you. All of the money will be going towards a new operating theatre for the Great Ormond Street Hospital. Last year’s fundraiser raised £1,100 and the salon hopes to double its donations this year.

Bring family, friends, lovers and neighbours as there will be all manner of fun things going on aside from great hair  - face painting, yummy cupcakes, massages, a DJ, raffle, sausage sizzle and manicures.

The event takes place on 3rd July from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at 3 Ladbroke Road, Notting Hill W11 3PA

Lights, Camera, Action!

2011 started with a big ‘flash’. With never a dull moment, the New Year got off to a flying start for all of us at Amazing PR. It certainly was an antidote to the January blues to be thrown into a fast-paced shoot with our fabulous client, Hair Organics.  Creative Director Terry Wilson and his beautiful client Adrienne Drayson were the focus of attention for this glamorous editorial shoot.

Hair Organics in Notting Hill is ‘An Organic Haven of Hair Excellence’. The salon design has drawn inspiration from luxury health spas in South East Asia and the sleek wood accents of Scandinavian hotels. They offer full salon treatments minus the chemical overload with their botanic and mineral colour choices. With over 46 colours to choose from you can change your look as often as you like, minus the worry of damaging your hair or your health.

Suki Dhanda – celebrity photographer arrived first to set up at Hair Organics with her lovely assistant Laura. Suki who is no stranger to stars, has worked with the likes of Kelly Brook, David Walliams, Rihanna, Alesha Dixon and Javis Cocker. Later top make-up artist Jo Clayton arrived ready to work her magic. We introduced Jo to the pigment rich, metallic shades of Blink+Go Eye Shadow and Blush Duo No 2 palette which she used to gorgeous effect on Adrienne’s eyes.

So, you might be wondering what this was all about...well you will just have to cruise the aisles at Sainsbury’s in mid-March to catch a glimpse of their April issue. More than that I cannot tell you!
