Patrick Cox and Eric Lanlard have tapped into Soho’s love for a bit of quirky irreverence with Cox Cookies and Cake. After all who doesn’t love a suggestion of sleaze with their cupcakes? From the fun and fantastic to the downright rude, all sold from a shop that blends in perfectly with it’s less than salubrious neighbours, the cakes have quickly become a Soho institution.
But it is not just a little afternoon delight with some deliciously naughty nibbles that they are offering up. Until 15th June in support of Amnesty International’s 50th birthday they are selling a limited edition cupcake, with 50p from each cupcake being donated to the charity. The Amnesty International cake is a delicious Madagascan vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting with an edible bright pink Amnesty International logo. Being naughty never felt so good...
The Amnesty International Cakes are now on sale at Cox Cookies & Cake for a limited time only, priced £2.50 each (50p from each cake sale goes directly to Amnesty International).
