Acqua Di Parma

Acqua di Parma - Italian Resort Collection

Here at The Amazing Blog, we're huge fans of Acqua di Parma. Steeped in Italian-style glamour, we can't get enough of the classy brand. True to their Italian nature, they have unmistakeable sophistication, exquisite craftsmanship and high quality ingredients. Needless to say, we were delighted to receive samples from their new line, The Italian Resort Collection.

Housed in their iconic blue bottles, the new range is every bit as chic as the brand's previous releases, and uses an age-defying Mediterranean Re-Activating Complex from the Sicilian Maritime Pine in its formula to revitalise skin and leave it feeling youthful and radiant. The range provides the perfect tool for prepping our skin for summer, and, true to form, it all smells divine.

The range consists of two sections, a Face and a Body Skincare Routine. Of the Face Skincare Routine, we had the chance to sample the Revitalising Eye Cream. A rich, unscented cream, it's the perfect for perking up your peepers, helping to reduce signs of aging, and brighten up the eye area. Of course, your face isn’t the only thing that feels the effects of ageing, and our favourite product from the Body Skincare Routine is most certainly the Toning Body Oil. A deliciously scented, nourishing oil, it helps to smooth and soften your skin, whilst giving it the most beautiful sheen, worthy of any Mediterranean holiday.

Pick up the Revitalising Eye Cream here, and the Toning Body Oil here for £51 and £45 respectively. You can also head over to Acqua di Parma’s website for more information about the collection and to sign up for their club to make a purchase.

Acqua Di Parma – Rosa Nobile

Here at The Amazing Blog, we love Acqua Di Parma and regularly feature them on our blog. We were thrilled when we heard about their new Rosa Nobile fragrance, and it quickly became our favourite summer scent.

Rosa Nobile is the newest fragrance from the Italian house. As the name suggests, the key note is Rose, a special sort of Centifolia Rose at that. It grows and blooms only in Italy, making the fragrance every bit the Italian gem we would expect. The composition of the fragrance means that Rosa Nobile opens with a luminous, juicy, Italian-style signature of bergamot and mandarin, which immediately emphasizes the fruity floral notes. This is then spiced up with a touch of black pepper to capture the attention and imagination of your senses. This mix of citrus, floral and tart notes is enriched with lily of the valley, velvety violet and gentle peony. As the ingredients suggest, this is a floral fragrance lover’s dream. Some floral fragrances can seem weak, however the sheer number of floral notes combined with the dry, sophisticated woodsy notes of cedar and ambergris means that this fragrance lingers for hours. This fragrance is one which all of us here in the office absolutely adore.

The new perfume Rosa Nobile comes in the same, recognizable bottle as the previous Nobile editions, and its pink fluid looks even more vivid in the golden bottle. The fragrance is available in 50ml and 100ml Eau de Parfum, accompanied by perfumed body care products. It can be bought here for £70 (50ml) or £98 (100ml).

Not only representing personalities but also expressing the character of the city are the Londoner fragrances.  After uncovering her love affair with London, beauty industry expert Rebecca Goswell seeks to capture the essence of her inspiration. Londoner fragrances represent the urban society; each scent is named after the postal code of the distinct part of city it captures.  We really appreciate that all of the brand's scents are androgynous, encompassing the character of either male or female which allowed everyone in the office (even Jose) to give feedback on the scents.  Our favourite scent in the line is the N6 Urban Fragrance with its notes of crisp bergamot, English fruit, jasmine and caramel.  Not only does the scent capture a bold yet classy personality, but it represents the elegant character of the Highgate Village as well. Other Londoner fragrances include W1X, EC2 and SE1.  Explore the city without leaving your home with the Londoner fragrances which are available here for £81.

Another beautiful perfume to add some colour to your dressing table, is the innovative brand Aura-Soma Pegasus. An interesting idea, you choose your perfume based on the colour of the bottle as opposed to the scent. The concept behind the brand is that the colour you select is a reflection of your mood and personality, and the fragrance you get will act in harmony with your spiritual and emotional wellbeing. The office favourite is 75, which has a wonderful orange flower aroma. Its combination of turquoise and magenta helped to create a peaceful environment in the office.  Aura-Soma Pegasus perfume are more than just cosmetic; they are intuitive. On top of this unique feature, the perfume is the only one in the world to contain organic alcohol, an aspect we greatly admire. Aura-Soma Pegasus perfumes are available to buy here for £85.
