Earl Grey and Green Tea - Hope and Glory Tea

Fancy a cup of tea? Here at The Amazing Blog, the answer to that question is always yes. Today we are drinking Hope & Glory tea and savouring every sip. From the robust flavours in the Maharaja signature range to the softer more delicate herbal tisanes in the Rani range, Hope and Glory tea will lift your spirits. Certified, organic and completely free trade, this tea is hand-picked from countries all over the world and is curated with the British palate in mind.

Their teas are split into four collections, each with a name as royal as the tea itself. There is the robust and strong Maharajah collection, the nurturing and natural Maharani collection, the unique Rajah collection and of course the delicate Rani range. Hope & Glory offers their products as either loose leaf sachets or as pyramid tea bags with differing quantity options for each.

We were fortunate enough to sample Hope and Glory’s Earl Grey Tea and Green Tea which are both from the Rani collection. The Earl Grey has a light and aromatic flavour. Infused with natural Bergamot oil this tea has a hint of sweet lime and delectable and refreshing citrus notes. Take it with milk or without, this Earl Grey is delicious and is the perfect way to start your morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up. The Green Tea is mellow and bright and, we think, the ideal way to unwind after a long day at the office and a stressful commute home – after all, as Hope and Glory say, “where there is tea there is hope.”

You can purchase these moreish teas here, and prices range from £11.00 - £25.00 depeding on the style of tea and the quantity you desire.

White and Green Tea Exfoliators and Moisturisers - Ceremony

Here at The Amazing Blog, we have discovered the power of tea, and no, we’re not talking about the boost a late afternoon cup gives you. We were recently introduced to Ceremony, a brand that uses the highest quality Japanese tea as the cornerstone of their skincare products. Ceremony skincare blends the ancient philosophy of Japanese tea ceremonies with modern aesthetics and science to create a fantastic product that will leave you feeling pampered all day long.

Ceremony’s skin range is divided into their white tea and green tea products which really help to harness the individual benefits of the teas. Green tea has been shown to help treat acne, improve complexion and maintain youthful skin, making it perfect for oily skin types. White tea has been proven to reduce puffiness, prevent sun damage and is even known to help to avoid wrinkles as it aids in protecting the collagen and elastin in the skin.

We were lucky enough to try both the green tea and white tea versions of Ceremony’s moisturiser and exfoliator. Peach seed powder is used as the basis for both of the exfoliators. This is an excellent alternative to micro-beads which can damage the skin and harm the environment. The green tea scrub really helped to keep breakouts down due in part to the chamomile extract in the product. Both moisturisers gave the skin a new radiance, and our complexions flourished when used daily, in part due to the shea butter! We would recommend the green tea products for those with oily and combination skin, and we would recommend the white tea products for normal to dry skin types.

The green tea exfoliator can be purchased here for £17.50, and the moisturiser for £18.50 here

The white tea exfoliator can be purchased here for £18.50, and moisturiser for £20.50 here

Dermacoll - Anti aging Supplement

Here at The Amazing Blog, we have come across countless anti-ageing creams and serums. Yet we believe the effectiveness of these products can only extend so far, there is a brand new way to turn back the clock. Dermacoll have introduced a break-through Anti-Ageing Supplement, taking ingestible collagen absorbs far quicker into the body than simply layering it on our skin.

The supplement stimulates metabolism and production of collagen directly from inside; we were excited to see if this is indeed more effective than other leading skincare brands. It contains Hydrolysed Bovine Collagen, Vitamin C, Green Tea Powder and Hyaluronic Acid which further promotes collagen production. Dermacoll promises hydrated skin, reduced appearance of lines, improved elasticity, healthy hair and nails and even reduction in cellulite.

After 4 to 6 weeks of using it the results speak for itself, our skin felt plump and deeply hydrated, this reduced any fine lines and gave our skin a healthy glow. After years of religiously applying cream after cream we are ecstatic to have found a product that really works. It was a super quick and easy addition to our beauty regime, mix a scoop into water or juice of your choice. Each Dermacoll contains enough product for a month of beautiful, ageless skin.

If you’re fed up of countless ineffective anti-ageing products, be sure to get your Dermacoll supplement here for £29.95; if you're more on the traditional store-shopping side, contact Healtharena on 01670 511066 to discover where to find the nearest stockist.

Skin Blossom Reviving Eye Cream

As the fellow readers of The Amazing Blog will know already we absolutely love all things natural and organic. Once I started getting into products' ingredients, my overall view of skincare changed dramatically - I started investing on quality brands that offered me specifically what my skin needed. I learned to identify ingredients that skin, in general, doesn't need and that average skincare contains as a rule. One day whilst doing my research on organic brands and products, I came across Skin Blossom and their Organic Facial Skincare Range. At the time, I needed a new eye-cream as I was running out of mine (and didn't really love it...), and decided to give their Reviving Eye Cream a go. When it comes to eye-cream, I look for something very nourishing but not too greasy. I always tend to go for rich formulas and use the smallest amount of product, as I'm really scared of milia. Skin Blossom Reviving Eye Cream's consistency is just the perfect mixture of a cream and a velvety soft gel - it's gentle and feels fresh on the skin. The formula is 85% organic and 98.85% natural - it contains Green Tea (fantastic antioxidant), Eyebright and Buckwheat extract; very brightening ingredients that I found worked great on my undereye area. One of the things I liked the most about the eye cream is that it's very gentle and scentless; which makes it perfect for those of you with sensitive skin.

Skin Blossom's products are made of organic ingredients and certified to the strict Soil Association organic skin care standards; and they're also suitable for Vegans. At The Amazing Blog, we have loved this eyecream and we're really looking forward to using more skincare items by Skin Blossom. Their prices are affordable and their quality impeccable from our experience.

Skin Blossom Reviving Eyecream retails at £4.95. You can visit their website to see a full list of stockists.
