White and Green Tea Exfoliators and Moisturisers - Ceremony

Here at The Amazing Blog, we have discovered the power of tea, and no, we’re not talking about the boost a late afternoon cup gives you. We were recently introduced to Ceremony, a brand that uses the highest quality Japanese tea as the cornerstone of their skincare products. Ceremony’s skin range is divided into their white tea and green tea products which really help to harness the individual benefits of the teas. This is an excellent alternative to micro-beads which can damage the skin and harm the environment. The green tea scrub really helped to keep breakouts down due in part to the chamomile extract in the product. Both moisturisers gave the skin a new radiance, and our complexions flourished when used daily, in part due to the shea butter! We would recommend the green tea products for those with oily and combination skin, and we would recommend the white tea products for normal to dry skin types.

3-Step-System for HIM - Adam & Eve Skincare

Here at The Amazing Blog, we believe that every skin deserves a treat and a break, that includes men’s skin. Shaving every day, cold weather and so much more can all contribute to making men's skin sensitive. Adam & Eve Skincare developed a full Adam range specially designed to treat male skin.

The Other Art Fair - Friday Favourites

Here at The Amazing Blog, we could not be more excited to hear that The Other Art Fair is returning to London. Taking place at the historic Victoria House on Southampton Row, this year will mark the 6th year and the 15th time the fair will be returning to London and promises to be an unforgettable event.

London is the first of five worldwide stops before the fair moves on to Melbourne, Sydney, Bristol and New York. Presented by SAATCHI ART, the fair will feature 130 artists and programmes! Each artist has been carefully hand-picked by a pannel of judges to bring you the highest quality of art while showcasing London’s up and coming artists.

The Other Art Fair is an amazing way to bridge the gap between the art and artist and provides an unbelieve opportunity for the public to interact with the artists directly. This year, the fair will begin on Thursday the 30th of March at 17:00 and will continue throughout the weekend ending on Sunday the 2nd of April at 18:00.

Red-Out Calming Cleanser, Red-Out Serum - Repechage

At the Amazing Blog, we like to use products that are both good for our skin and tackle any environmental aggressors. We recently discovered the brand Repechage who create natural beauty products made with beneficial and potent ingredients from the ocean.  

The first product we received was a Red-Out Calming Cleanser. This facial cleanser is useful especially if you have easily irritated skin. It works with micro silver which works to combat the build up of unwanted bacteria on the skin. This product will have you seeing significant improvements in a short space of time! The combination of seaweed with powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatories such as Quercetin and Rutin aid in restoring, protecting and balancing your skin.

Awakening Body Wash, Balancing Body Oil & Awakening Body Cream - Gaia

Gaia's luxurious spas in Devon and Boringdon Hall are the ultimate beauty treat. Their natural ingredients and artisan methods are truly something everybody should get to experience. However, we here at The Amazing Blog know that spa trips are not something we can often take, so it is brilliant to be able to take a little piece of Gaia's Spas home with you with their collection of body care.

Gaia's range of products includes sumptuous oils, scrubs, and washes for you to pamper yourself with at home. We were lucky enough to have three of their products to try: the Awakening Body Wash, the Balancing Body Oil and the Awakening Body Cream. We adored the packaging and thought that the bamboo wood finishes really complimented the green glass of the products!

Starting with the Body Wash, it's a very light and hydrating cleanser that has a fresh but not overpowering scent. It's made with the Gaia signature blend and infuses aloe vera with organic Calendula to gently refresh and clean the skin. We also enjoyed adding the wash to our baths to create a luxurious and comforting bath soak.

After washing, it's time to apply the Balancing Body Oil. This aromatic oil is blended with a combination of ylang-ylang and palmarosa and has an earthy and exotic scent. Safflower and calendula oil are great at soothing and hydrating the skin, totally relaxing the body and mind.
