LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut and Macadamia Oil Collection

blog image The weather can wreck havoc on our hair, in the Summer UV rays damage the melanin in our hair; and in the Winter, the changes between the cold, dry outside air and the warmth inside our homes and offices lifts the cuticle of our hair and the moisture is leached from it, leaving us with frizzy and unruly locks! When we girls at The Amazing Blog heard about the LaCoupe Orgnx Coconut and Macadamia Oil Collection we just had to get our hands on it!

The Coconut and Macadamia Oil Collection is a specially designed hair care range that protects the hair from the environment that can damage the hair. As Autumn is well and truly underway now we thought this would be a perfect time to test out the shampoo and conditioner.

The smell of the products is wonderful thanks to the coconut and macadamia oil, and I found that it lingered in my throughout the day. These oils are two of our favourite due to their luxurious moisturising qualities. After using the shampoo and conditioner on my dry and unruly hair, I found that it really did work to hydrate my locks, and left my hair not only smelling delightful, but also looking shinier and healthier than it has in ages. Both the shampoo and conditioner are lightweight formulas that can transform dry, frizzy and damaged hair into shiny healthy hair that is stronger and softer – and smells like a summer holiday even in the depths of winter!

If you want to get your hands on this moisturising hair collection, check out the LaCoupe website or you can purchase the Shampoo and conditioner, both £10.95 each for 300ml instore at Harvey Nichols or from the Nutri Beauty Products website.

Freshen Up Your Skincare Routine with Agese Oil

Agese Oil With August coming to a close and the threat of the Autumn chill looming  ever closer, it is really time that we start thinking about our Autumn/Winter skin routine here at The Amazing Blog. Colder temperatures always means that our skin will become drier, and this is never good.Even if you tend to have oily skin, you’ll probably notice that your skin seems tighter in the winter. We are always looking for new and wonderful products to alleviate this dry and tight feeling that accompanies the change in seasons. One product that has really caught our eye in the search for special skincare products was the wonderful face oil made by Agese Oils.

Agese Oils was created to inspire women to go back to using the root essential products for the skin: oils. They have specialised formulas targeting the face, body, and hair, making sure each part of you gets the exact nutrients it needs to be beautiful. We were thrilled to try the face oil, because let’s be honest, we are a little obsessed with facial oils at The Amazing Blog HQ.

The Agese Face Oil is a Lotus and Peppermint Oil Elixir designed for the face and décolleté, which can be used to improve the skin’s texture and promote cell rejuvenation. You will want to use one drop twice daily for optimum results as a little of this product goes a long way. This is great then, as this oil lasts for ages. We have completely fallen in love with the packaging, the oil comes in a glass bottle encased in a carved wooden container that is simply beautiful. The oil smells refreshing, due to the peppermint, and feels wonderful and cooling on the face. This is ideal for anyone who is prone to dry skin in the chillier temperatures, and you will find that it is luxurious and nourishing. If that isn't enough to convince you, this oil is completely natural so there are no nasty chemicals that will be harmful to your skin. The Face Oil is created with a well balanced blend of Jojoba, Apricot, Lotus and Peppermint oils as well as natural Vitamin E oil, all of which are fantastic for the skin.

To try out the benefits of Agese Oils on your skin, visit their website where you can purchase the Face Oil which retails at £29 for 15ml. You can also find lots more information about this product and see the lovely range of other products on offer.

Wolf Hand Cream for Men

Jose's monday The girls at The Amazing Blog  are all laughing at me… they’re getting their own back on me for teasing them about all their lotions and potions in the office. I’m not really much of a skincare sort of guy but occasionally I do get dry hands and reach for the nearest tube of hand lotion on the desk. Whereby, I let out a shriek in disbelief as I’ve blindly applied some girlie highly fragranced cream all over my hands. Need I say any more? Enter Wolf Hand Cream for Men .

Wolf Hand Cream for Men is a small family business dedicated to providing men with those niche grooming products that women take for granted but for which men still have little or no choice but to use their wife's moisturising creams. First and foremost they see this as a hand cream for men who live life to the full; whether at work or at play, their hands are at the forefront of their activities. So, whether you’re a rugby player, rock climber, canoeist, tree-surgeon or fireman this hand cream is for you.

Now, at last, I have a tube on the desk of my very own (hands off girls!) Wolf Hand cream for Men is unscented, non-greasy in a clear tube with subtle branding. All I have to do is squeeze a small amount and rub in – great for the winter time. No horrible nasties (i.e. parabens) and is not tested on animals. RRP £5 for a 50ml tube – great value! You see the girls have taught me well.

Peachy Pink Gold

There are times when you come across with products that you simply can't ignore; whether it's because of its effects or the effort and thought put in their design, you just can't get enough of them - they're wonder products. Something similar happened to the gang at The Amazing Blog when we came across Peachy Pink London and their Peachy Pink Gold leggings. The British brand has unveiled a new age-defying gold fabric techonology which is revolutionising the woman's shaping and skincare market. Peachy Pink Gold is created using an exclusive luxury fiber that features 24-carat gold particles. Nygold, the fiber, is the result of a breakthrough in nanotechnology, which is proven to have an anti-ageing effect on the skin. These gold particles supply skin cells with constant moisture - Peachy Pink London claims that as soon as the hyaluronic acid molecules come into contact with the skin, they can reduce the appearance of age spots and even sun damaged skin by keeping them hydrated and plump. These particles act as conductors on the skin to speed up and intesify the absortion of the hyaluronic acid by the skin cells. The natural hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases as we age, leaving skin dull and tired-looking; and this anti-aging techonology has a direct impact on the skin preventing premature aging.

Peachy Pink Gold has been designed to refine the skin whilst hydrating it - at The Amazing Blog we've found that these leggings are as effective as a moisturiser and after wearing them for more than 6 hours, we can definitely tell that our skin looked brighter and even softer.

Once again, at The Amazing Blog we love all rounder products, Peachy Pink Gold gives you the appearance of a more slender body while it protects the skin from free radicals responsible for premature aging.

The Peachy Pink Gold Leggings and High-Rise Shorts are available on their website, they retail at £74.90 and £69.90.

NATorigin lipsticks

When it comes to lipstick I have to admit that I never have enough. Since my first red lipstick when I was 17, my love for that make-up item has grown and grown with the years - I never have enough shades of red, I'm always in the hunt of the perfect matte non-drying formula, I love wearing vampy lips in winter, and paring an orange lipstick with full-on-nearly-spidery lashes is one of my favourite looks to rock. Lipstick makes me walk out the door with my chin up. One of the main qualities I look for in a lipstick, more than the staying power -that is important too when you're wearing a bold lipstick- is for it to keep my lips moisturised. Reapplying lip balm (especially if it's petroleum based) makes the surface of your lips too slippery for when you reapply the lip colour. When I found about NATorigin lipsticks I was glad to see that their texture and finish were similar to a coloured lipbalm - very moisturing and with the right hint of colour, perfect for everyday. These multi award winning lipsticks' ingredients are 100% naturally sourced and certified organic by Ecocert Greenlife. NATorigin lipsticks are super moisturising and hypoallergenic, formulated with orchid extract to provide an extremely soft and smooth texture that glides on the lips effortlessly. The lipsticks are very rich in organic waxes (carnuba wax, candelilla wax and beeswax), organic shea butter and organic oils (sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil, marula seed oil and castor seed oil) - they keep the lips protected, soft and juicy looking thanks to their sheer colour. NATorigin are gluten-free and considered beneficial for allergy sufferers based on consumer opinion and approved by Allergy UK - so they're literally suitable for everyone!

My favourite shade of the 6 they do is "Fig" - a beautiful reddy brown shade that instantly brightens my light and slightly warm complexion. This sheer and moisturising lipstick formula is perfect for those of you who'd like to wear bold lips but for some reason don't; whether because you're too shy or don't think bold lips suit you. They're pigmented without being over the top and wear off beautifully leaving a nice even stain on the lips.

At The Amazing Blog we're delighted with the NATorigin lipsticks - they're moisturing, the shade range is lovely and they're certified organic! These fabulous lipsticks retail at £15.50 and can be purchased from their website.
