Win a Paperthinks Leather iPad Folio

Blog We at The Amazing Blog were fortunate to come across  Paperthinks at the recent PURE33 Exhibition. While there,  I immediately fell in love with this 'genuine' brand, and couldn’t wait to do some shopping of my own. Paperthinks offers a wide variety of products -  from card cases and notebooks to shopping bags and iPad folios. And with 24 colours it was practically impossible to make a decision. I couldn’t resist buying the Mist Blue Notebook but all their products were very tempting indeed. AND today you are very lucky because you have the chance to win a Paperthinks Leather Violet iPad Folio right here!  This vibrant lavender colour is right on trend and is in the most luxurious leather - absolutely stunning.

Paperthinks are very special people and believe that no one should not have to choose between being green and being stylish. So they merged the two beautifully: combining sustainability and design.  Each product is made from 100% recycled leather. In order to reduce waste, Paperthinks uses the off-cuts, trimmings and shavings from Asian leather manufacturing processes and industries. The leather is then treated with 'eco-conscience' lamination techniques producing a high quality and completely recycled product. It’s the perfect solution to creating a unique leather without further damaging the environment. The end result is a durable product that isn’t bulky or stiff. I use my notebook daily and it shows no signs of wear or tear.  All in all, each product has everything you need and nothing more. Paperthinks has truly captured the beauty of simplicity.

This fabulous Paperthink iPad Folio retails at £29.50 but one lucky reader will win it for free! To enter simply send your Name, Twitter, Email, and Postal Address to press@amazingpr.co.uk. The give away ends May 8th and we will be tweeting the winner. To see Paperthinks’ complete collection check out their website gallery or go to Oliver Bonas to purchase your favourites.

Bodhi - Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil

blog After a long day of work and commuting from Chelsea to North London, I always look forward to removing my make up and getting rid of the dirt from the tube. My evening skincare routine is the perfect remedy to remove my stress - who doesn't love a bit of pampering, huh? So when we at The Amazing Blog  received the Bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil I was eager to give it a try. We were lucky enough to feature Bodhi last year on the blog so I had no doubt that Elijah Choo, the founder of this fabulous brand, had come up with another fantastic product.

Neroli Lucé is made of an exquisite blend of botanically derived oils. Hand crafted by Elijah himself, each oil is chosen with a specific purpose. Tunisian Neroli aims to revitalise and rebalance, while Frankincense and Sea Buckthorn oils rejuvenate and restore natural oils in your skin. Personally, I have always been a fan of Neroli oil's therapeutic properties as it regenerates skin cells, promotes soft skin, and helps to calm the nervous system.  Now combined with Frankincense and Sea Buckthorn, I found this facial oil to be hydrating without leaving a greasy feeling behind. Just one to two pumps were enough to leave my face feeling plump and glowy-looking. Due to the purity of each ingredient the smell is slightly overpowering at first; however, once the oil has been absorbed, the vibrant orange blossom aroma is quite refreshing and calming. This exquisite oil invites you to close your eyes and be taken away to a Mediterranean euphoria.

While it may seem a little pricey at £32 for a 15ml, this elegant and clever blend is worth every penny and available on their website.  Requiring only one or two pumps per use, it is sure to last you a while. With its unique blend of botanic oils, Bodhi Neroli Lucé Revitalising Face Oil is the key to restoring your skin back to that hydrated and radiant look we all love and aim to achieve.

Skin Chemists - Trim Tum

blog With Summer approaching fast and the swimming costume/bikini season looming. We at The Amazing Blog are just very ‘slightly' going into panic mode. Eek… We’ve all been discussing in the office that there’s really not much time before we’ll all be striping off for our Summer beach holidays. So when Trim Tum arrived, as you can imagine, we were all very motivated to give it a go.  After all, here is a product that 'promises' to aid our battle to banish those unsightly little tummy bulges.

Skin Chemists are an established small family business, with a long heritage since 1890.  Their current MD Richard Walker continues on his father's passion for creating breakthrough skin creams, working alongside world class pharmacists and chemists. They are perhaps best known for their Wrinkle Killer Snake Serum which they launched in 2010.

I was very quick to volunteer testing out  this latest product from Skin Chemists   I’m known for being the laziest person in the office (my excuse is time poor and having had to do slow walks with my elderly dog). I have now been using Trim Tum for the past month religiously (morning and evening) and I have to say that I really have seen a slight difference in the texture in my skin;  although I think that I need to keep going for another month or so to see more substantial results. It contains active ingredients of Laracare and Slimexir (4%) both of which help to revitalise and strengthen the skin to give  a significantly slimmer abdomen. I’m down to the last few ‘squeezes’ and am tempted to get another tube. However be warned it is not modestly priced and is a considerable purchase at £125 for 100ml.

But those lovely people at Skin Chemists have kindly given us an EXCLUSIVE 80% discount offer for their Trim Tum so please log onto their website and enter AmazingSkin in the checkout code – ending 21rd June 2013.  Which makes it a very affordable £25!!  Most certainly I'll  now be stocking up with a few more tubes :)  Skin Chemists products are innovative, ethical and clinically proven to be effective.

Pairfum - Perfumed Honeycomb Sachet

blog There is nothing worse than walking into a musty room or opening up a stuffy wardrobe. The smell of stale air practically drives me mad. Thankfully, we at The Amazing Blog have found a solution to this obnoxious problem - The Pairfum Perfumed Honeycomb Sachet.

Unlike standard sachets, The Pairfum Perfumed Honeycomb is subtle and not too overwhelming. And to be honest, when it comes to sachets, being subtle is key. There is nothing worse than replacing the scent of stale air with an overly powerful synthetic aroma. We hung this sachet up in our office and then in our basement wardrobe and it simply eliminated any odours with a pleasant lavender essence. After 2 months it still continues to fill the air with a refreshing scent.

As our readers know we love natural and organic products, and the Pairfum Perfume Honeycomb Sachet is everything but synthetic. Made from 100% natural beeswax, each sheet is coated with a pure perfumed infused nectar. The oils are nontoxic and biodegradable so this sachet can be placed throughout the house without causing danger to food or pets.

We found that Pairfum Sachets provide the perfect subtle aromatic scents to replace the stale air of your wardrobes and rooms. For only £8.99 you can bring a lovely spring scent inside your house and wardrobe. Go to the  Pairfum website to choose from a gallery of fabulous smells.

Hope's Relief - Goats Milk Body Wash

blog Since I can remember I’ve always struggled with my skin due to its sensitivity towards almost everything that touches it. When I was a very little girl, I would go to the beach with my parents and take a dip; my mum would then wrap me with my soft and cute towel and five minutes later... my skin would be bright red, itchy and my 5-year-old-self would scratch it with no mercy.

When I got a bit older, my skin’s sensitivity grew even bigger and I suffered from dermatitis on my forearms constantly. I visited my dermatologist regularly and he would always recommend me a specific oat based and soap-free body wash and body lotion. Things changed when I hit 16, my skin grew thicker and stronger and for a few years my dermatitis disappeared. Nowadays, dermatitis shows up very rarely on my forearms, it would itch like hell, but after two days it would stop – leaving my forearms dry and flaky. I blame genetics – thanks dad for giving me this delicate and thin skin, I blame you.

Two weeks ago dermatitis decided to bother me again for a whole week – my forearms would itch like nothing else. With the years, I’ve learnt not to scratch (or even touch) my skin when it’s this angry. The Amazing Blog came across with the chance of reviewing Hope's Relief’s Goats Milk Body Wash – my Managing Editor Edwina, left this gem of a body wash in my desk for me to try. Perfect timing… and product.

Hope's Relief’s Goats Milk Body Wash is a pure and natural product that has been proven to be perfect for dry sensitive skins, especially skins prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Skin Relief’s only uses 100% pure Goats Milk to manufacture this product – it’s full of Vitamins, Nutrients and Proteins and naturally occurring Triglycerides. This truly effective Goats Milk Body Wash is also suitable for those with acne prone skin, as the proteins in Goats Milk kill acne producing bacteria too!

Hope's Relief’s Goats Milk Body Wash is free of chemical additives and preservatives and reduces the risk of irritation or allergic reactions.

Overall, this Body Wash is a true winner for me – it soothes my skin, cleanses very gently and smells clean and a bit sweet – nothing too overpowering, which is perfect. I will definitely repurchase another bottle when I run out of the one I am currently using.

You can purchase this Body Wash on Healthy House for £11.40.
