BRYT Skincare - BRYT Skincare For Him

Being the only male in the office, the grooming products I receive are sadly, but not surprisingly, few and far between. I’m pleased to announce, however, that this has been my lucky week, as The Amazing Blog received a range of mens beauty treats, courtesy of BRYT Skincare.  With a range of skincare for him, from cleanser to moisturiser, I couldn’t wait to go home and get cleansing.

Of the four products that BRYT Skincare kindly sent over; the Boys Foaming Cleanser, Boys Wash, Boys Moisturise and Boys Shave, I was most excited by the Boys Wash. A gentle lathering gel, the first thing that caught me was the smell. The minty scent provided a wonderful morning pick-me-up, and the fact that the product is a 'two in one' for both hair and body makes it ideal for those speedy morning showers when I’ve slept in for a bit too long. Despite being a foaming wash, the product wasn’t drying at all. A combination of amino acids and essential oils from apple, mandarin, lime and orange help to nourish hair and keep skin soft and supple, making it the perfect product to stash in the shower. I was also really impressed with the Boys Shave. Using a Far Eastern approach to shaving, essential oils soften the hair, making it easier and more comfortable to shave, and eradicating awful shaving burn. The soothing formula also includes essence of bergamot, known for its anti-acne properties, which will definitely offer me a helping hand on my bad skin days.

We all know that men are a little more relaxed in their approach to beauty regimes, but BRYT Skincare have put a little excitement back into my skincare routine. With an easy, fuss-free system, and multi-purpose products that simplify the skincare process, my skin will definitely thank me for discovering the BRYT way. Head over to the BRYT Skincare website to grab the Hair and Body Wash For Him for £13.99 here, the Foaming Cleanser For Him for £12.50 here, the Moisturiser For Him for £16.00 here, as well as the Shave for Him here for £15.00.

Crabtree & Evelyn - Verbena & Lavender de Provence Shampoo & Conditioner

Here at The Amazing Blog, we’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Crabtree & Evelyn.  Having featured many of their wonderful offerings in the past, we were delighted when they sent over their Verbena & Lavender de Provence Shampoo & Conditioner for us to try.  Following the success of their Verbena & Lavender Bath and Body Collection, we knew we were in for a treat, and these freshly scented products had us itching for our next shower.

Being such seasoned shampoo testers, we are aware that it’s often difficult to find a shampoo that doesn’t leave your locks feeling a little parched. Thankfully, both the shampoo and conditioner are formulated with moisturising glycerin, as well as lavender and lemon extract, helping to gently nourish the hair. The shampoo lathers to produce a wonderfully light and easy to wear fragrance, reminiscent of the idyllic French countryside. Those familiar with the popular perfume of their Bath & Body Collection will recognise two of the region's iconic natural scents, with French lemon verbena and lavender essential oils offering a beautifully fresh and uplifting aroma. The conditioner provided the perfect follow up to its cleaning counterpart, helping to detangle those stubborn knots, delivering the perfect dose of moisture without adding any weight to our delicate tresses.

Crabtree & Evelyn are definitely onto a winner with their new Verbena & Lavender de Provence Shampoo & Conditioner, which you can purchase for £12.00 each. You can also browse all of Crabtree & Evelyn’s products here. We’re also pleased to report that for every Verbena & Lavender product sold during September, Crabtree & Evelyn will donate at least £1 to Macmillan Cancer Support!

Hairy Jayne - Nourishing Shampoo and Cream Conditioner

We are always open to trying out new hair products here at The Amazing Blog. That is why we were so excited to receive shampoo and conditioner from Hairy Jayne ! Hairy Jayne is a hair stylist who brews her own range of products with her bare hands at her studio in Brixton. Each batch is carefully handmade to the highest standards, and have been tested by cosmetic chemists. The products are elegantly labelled and hand packaged in recyclable bottles. When we received our bottles in the offices we were blown away that such lovely products could be put together by hand. We received the Nourishing Shampoo and Cream Conditioner, which both have a wonderful floral fragrance that leaves your bathroom and hair smelling delicious. Both the shampoo and conditioner hydrate, add shine, calm frizz, and are recommended for most types of hair. Some of us in the office might be classified as having dry, damaged, or unruly hair, so this duo was a blessing for us to use upon our tresses. We loved both of these products because they made our hair feel super soft, but not flat at all. Hairy Jayne’s products are free from sulphates, parabens, palm oil, and are vegan friendly. We especially loved that all of the ingredients are sourced from companies within the UK which helps to lower the environmental impact of the products we love.

Hairy Jayne offers free shipping on orders of £20 or more, so purchase your Nourishing Shampoo here and Cream Conditioner here for £10 each.

O'Right - Goji Berry Volumizing Range

You all know how much we love natural beauty products here at The Amazing Blog. We are always on the hunt for new green goodies, so when we discovered O’Right, we could not wait to try it on our lovely locks. With their innovative wine bottle packaging, the Goji Berry Volumizing Range piqued our interest from the outset. We soon discovered that O’Right are more than just a pretty bottle.

One thing that really impressed us about the O’Right products is their unbelievably natural approach. We’re all for organic beauty, and everything, from the ingredients to the soy ink on the refillable bottles, is eco-friendly. This natural approach is more than apparent in the Volumizing Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Cream, all of which we were lucky enough to sample. Suitable for fine, limp hair, the range of products produced great results, and I was particularly impressed with the conditioner. With its incredible fruity smell and smooth texture, it is rich enough to give my tresses the moisture and nourishment they need, whilst being light enough to leave it soft and bouncy. The powerful antioxidants contained in the Goji Berry reinforce the hair root and structure, giving your flat hairdo a fabulous boost. The overall green nature of the products and the positive impact it had on my thin hair, puts the Goji Berry Volumizing collection at the top of my hair care shopping list.

Grab the O’Right Goji Berry Volumizing Range here. The conditioner is available to buy for £18.95, the shampoo and hair cream for £18.25 and £17.90 respectively.
