biOrganics - Leave-In Conditioner & Style Lock Hairspray

We here at The Amazing Blog love what we do, and are always hard at work. And although it’s great to be constantly ‘on’, we all need a little rest and relaxation from time to time. While we’re more than aware that this is the case for our minds and bodies, we often forget that our hair can also show the strain of a busy day. So, when natural brand, biOrganics sent us their Leave–In Conditioner and Style Lock Hairspray to try, we were eager to breathe a little life back into our lacklustre locks.

The Amazing Blog are passionate about organic products, so we were already impressed with biOrganics’ eco-friendly ethos before we’d opened the bottles. Their promise of natural, vegan, cruelty-free ingredients in all of their haircare is a quality we covet in our beauty products. As well as their impressive sustainability, their hair therapy offers really wonderful results. The Remoist Now Leave-In Conditioner, which contains popular ingredient, coconut oil, as well as organic chestnut extract, really brought shine and vitality back to my tresses. A rich cream that offers fantastic nourishment for dry hair, the leave in product keeps working after application, helping my hair to remain glossy and sleek until the end of the day. I was equally impressed with the Style Lock Hairspray from the Natural Body range. A paraben free natural spray, I was a little worried that it would leave my hair feeling clogged and sticky, but I was delighted to discover that this wasn't the case. A light mist, it helped to hold my hair in place all day long, whilst its lavender and rosemary oil left a fragrant cloud pleasantly lingering in the air.

Goldwell - Kerasilk Rich Keratin Care Shampoo and Daily Mask

According to Goldwell one in two women have major haircare issues, first thing in the morning. Apparently we girls spend most of our morning routine attempting to control frizzy, curly or unmanageable locks.  Because Goldwell understand this problem, they allowed us, here at The Amazing Blog , to try both their Kerasilk Rich Keratin Care Shampoo and Daily Mask, currently only available in salons.  Combining these salon treatments with the Kerasilk at home products, we have found our hair to be calmer, healthier and softer than ever...

Though the Shampoo and Daily Mask are thinner creamy liquids in comparison to other hair products, the shampoo lathered really nicely and, when combined with the mask, left my hair feeling stronger, straighter and silky smooth.  We left both products on for 5-10 minutes each, as recommended on the bottle, to obtain the best results for my frizzy mane.  After a few washes, we were delighted to see that the Kerasilk products really work, with the silk proteins and keratin achieving their goal of smoothing and transforming my unruly tresses. Ruby Red’s Hair Oil Treatment is another perfect solution for damaged hair. Olive, Sweet Almond, Jojoba, and Coconut oils help replenish nutrients and vitamins to dry, dull hair. If frizziness is an issue for you, we found this oil calmed mine down whilst also helping my split ends. Apply it from the roots through to the ends of your hair and leave it for around 30 minutes so it can work thoroughly through the hair. The oil felt amazing in my hands as it’s so soft and glides easily, I was almost tempted to use it as a body oil also!  Something that makes this oil quite special is that Ruby Red carefully hand-blends their products for maximum therapeutic benefit to maximise your pampering experience. Love how your hair looks after it is coloured, but hate having to deal with roots or regrowth? Never worry about hair colour that doesn’t match again with Root Cover Up by WOW! We love the look of soft curls, but we never have enough patience or time to curl my hair. That all changed with the Curl Secretby BaByliss which is quick and easy to use - I have shoulder length hair and can curl my whole head in about 10 minutes.
