We at The Amazing Blog were fortunate to come across Paperthinks at the recent PURE33 Exhibition. While there, I immediately fell in love with this ‘genuine’ brand, and couldn’t wait to do some shopping of my own. Paperthinks offers a wide variety of products - from card cases and notebooks to shopping bags and iPad folios. And with 24 colours it was practically impossible to make a decision. I couldn’t resist buying the Mist Blue Notebook but all their products were very tempting indeed. AND today you are very lucky because you have the chance to win a Paperthinks Leather Violet iPad Folio right here! This vibrant lavender colour is right on trend and is in the most luxurious leather – absolutely stunning.
Paperthinks are very special people and believe that no one should not have to choose between being green and being stylish. So they merged the two beautifully: combining sustainability and design. Each product is made from 100% recycled leather. In order to reduce waste, Paperthinks uses the off-cuts, trimmings and shavings from Asian leather manufacturing processes and industries. The leather is then treated with ‘eco-conscience’ lamination techniques producing a high quality and completely recycled product. It’s the perfect solution to creating a unique leather without further damaging the environment. The end result is a durable product that isn’t bulky or stiff. I use my notebook daily and it shows no signs of wear or tear. All in all, each product has everything you need and nothing more. Paperthinks has truly captured the beauty of simplicity.
This fabulous Paperthink iPad Folio retails at £29.50 but one lucky reader will win it for free! To enter simply send your Name, Twitter, Email, and Postal Address to firstname.lastname@example.org. The give away ends May 8th and we will be tweeting the winner. To see Paperthinks’ complete collection check out their website gallery or go to Oliver Bonas to purchase your favourites.

When we caught a glimpse of the stunning shoes that Olga Kurylenko was wearing on the recent tour of Oblivion; as you can imagine we at The Amazing Blog had to investigate further… regular readers of this blog will know we like to search out any unusual and comment-worthy British brands. And gosh have we got one for you.
It turns out that Kurylenko was wearing Marion Ayonote’s Conqueror Gladiator Pumps (which by the way are a part of Ayonote’s new Cruise Collection). We have been lucky enough to preview part of this collection (which incidentally will be live on their ‘Gallery’on Friday 19th April) and let me tell you, this collection is STUNNING. OK, so the price tag of £550 for this particular pair of shoes might make you faint, but the quality is nothing short of exceptional. Each pair is handcrafted in London, made up of the most luxurious leathers and are most definitely designed to make a statement. The above pair that Kurylenko showcased are in a versatile pewter colour and made of the softest calf leather, which has been printed with a subtle lizard pattern on the tongue. This delicious combination makes them the perfect complement for any day or evening outfit and is sure to make a few heads turn. Many of Ayonote’s creative inspirations come from her childhood in Africa, where her parents nurtured her talents from an early age, thus making her shoes original and unlike any other current designers.
For those of you who are lusting after these stylish pumps but cannot quite afford the price tag, Marion Ayonote will be releasing a more economical line, MA Diffusion Line, in a couple weeks. These will be in sizes 36-42 and are priced between £55 and £150. We suggest you revisit her website for this range in the middle of May.
The above Cruise Collection comes in sizes 37-41 and at present is available to view and buy, By Appointment Only. The showroom is located at 2 Munro Terrace Cheyne Walk Chelsea London SW10 0DL tel (+44) 0207 352 4088. We are very excited to have made the discovery of our Chelsea neighbour. And who knows, maybe we’ll see some of her shoes making an appearence shortly on the latest series of Made In Chelsea?

The girls here at The Amazing Blog are always keeping their eyes peeled for any new men’s accessories that are unique and different to add to my overflowing (not!) wardrobe. So when they stumbled upon the new innovative collection by T.M. Lewin – I couldn’t resist exploring a bit more.
With the help of two fashion designers, Anthony Aitman and Wayne Hemingway, they have created a new assortment of products for T.M. Lewin. Each new design offers cufflinks, ties, and handkerchiefs. While the abstract images and intricate patterns were intriguing ‘eye catchers’ and perhaps not for the faint-hearted. The story behind these accesories bears much more weight than what meets the eye, T.M. Lewin has paired up with The Princes Trust Tomorrow Campaign in order to help unemployed and underachieving youth receive an educational to build a foundation for a future career.
The Princes Trust specialises in four groups: Unemployed Young People, Young People Underachieving in Education, Young People Leaving Care, and Young Ex-Offenders. Each focus group aims to provide each student with academic confidence, life skills, and personal developement. All these aspects further build each youth’s qualification for future education and careers. With the purchase of each tie, £5 will be donated to The Prince’s Trust. This colobaration between T.M. Lewin and The Princes Trust is a brilliant way to combine fashion with philantrophy.
After much anticipation this collection is on sale in T.M. Lewin shops, NOW that’s today! Grab a new tie or cufflink to show off your distinctive sense of style with The Cityscape, The Florals, or The Geometric. They are all relatively affordable for a exclusive item that flashes a sense of style while also giving back to a reputable charity. The ties are £39, the cufflinks are £29, and the handkerchief is £15 each. They are available in all T.M. Lewin shops today.

As fashion lovers, whenever we get the chance to explore the history and making of brands names, we take advantage of it. That’s why when we at The Amazing Blog got word of the new Dior Exhibition and Café opening in Harrods, we knew we had to make our way over to it. The exhibition was absolutely breathtaking. Each of the nine dazzling sections featured the iconic aspects of Dior that have helped to make it the legendary name that it is today. One room features a sparkling display of J’adore Dior perfume bottles and glistening gold vintage dresses while another room features a giant white classic Dior handbag in the centre of the room; also a video of the creation of the bags is projected onto the bright white surface of the giant bag. This exhibition successfully combines French savoir-faire and British charm to create the ultimate Dior experience for anyone who lives and breathes fashion, such as I do.
When you’re done with the exhibit head on over to the Dior café. This café features a menu of food that evokes Monsieur Dior’s love for 18th century décor and passion for scrumptious French food – apparently the Lobster Sandwich is a must. Although, if you are unable to make a reservation, I would make my way down to the Harrods food hall and pick up some of their limited edition Dior cupcakes. I mean… what’s more perfect than high-fashion and cupcakes?
The exhibition is open from March 16th-April 14th and is completely free. So when you get the chance, make your way over to Harrods to experience this one of a kind high-fashion exhibition.

Finding the perfect carry-all for all my things can be a hassle. Most of the time I end up carrying my makeup in ugly plastic bags or my smelly gym clothes in my nice work purse, and don’t even get me started on trying to find something to hold my monster of a laptop in. We are always looking for bags that are both functional and stylish but most of the time we only really find one or the other. It’s either stylish but completely impractical for regular use or functional but absolutely hideous. I figured, after a long time searching for the perfect one, I would just need to rely on my plastic bags forever. That is until, we here at The Amazing Blog, came across the Sewlomax eco-friendly bags and with that, all my troubles have vanished.
Sewlomax Bags are functional, stylish and eco-friendly. Each bag is made here in England with sustainable materials and adorned with darling images such as a row of red lipsticks for their makeup pouches or a cute pair of ballet flats for their laptop bags. Each creation is hand-embroidered by the founder, Emma, who devotes herself to making and designing fabulous and eco-friendly bags. These designer canvas bags come in variety of different styles all the way from coin purses to large totes. Each purse helps to perfectly organise all your belongings in the most stylish way possible. They also make great gifts for others, or just as a treat for yourself.
To purchase your own Sewlomax bag go to their website and choose which style and design fits you best. These designs are attracting attention outside of the UK so get yours before it’s too late. Because how much longer can you really rely on those ugly plastic bags to carry all your belongings?
